Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the VP Manufacturing will drive strategies and action programs across Tilt’s manufacturing (cultivation and processing) platform to assure the highest levels of productivity/cost performance, service, quality, and safety. The VP Manufacturing will have a demonstrated background in leading multi-site, multi-state operations and driving lean thinking in fast paced, high service environments. The individual should have broad supply chain skills and be experienced in startups and acquisition integration.
This person will be a strong leader who will manage a team to include Director Cultivation, Director Processing, plant General Managers, and Quality leaders. He/she will work with the plant General Managers to develop budgets, manage CAPEX projects, establish production standards and create a continuous improvement culture. The Director of Production and Director of Processing are subject matter experts who will work with new site management to get their plants online and operating efficiently and work with existing sites management to ensure processes and methods are maintained. By being visible in the plants regularly, the VP manufacturing is expected to build relationships with plant leadership and teams to create and support a culture of respect and continuous process improvement.
